Here are some good books being read aloud on YouTube by authors such as Mimi Grey and Tom McLaughlin. Great to keep children experiencing authors while at home and some of these books have linked plans. These would mainly be regarded at KS1 books but projects/questions can be adapted for KS2 eg choice of language for audience/grammar used:

As wholesale school closures begin, we know that resources to support home learning – as well as classroom support for any children and staff still in schools – are in high demand.

That’s why we’ve put together a second set of FREE resources packs for Years 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6, each one representing enough literacy work for five mornings, with minimal adult supervision required.
